History

The Québec Darts Association (QDA) has been around since Mauricie-Bois-Francs and the Montreal region took part in the foundation of the QDA in 1977.  The progress in the world of darts these few past years has been amazing. The QDA presently counts close to 1,000 members, and over 25 dart clubs or leagues. Its regional structure has helped the re-development of this great sport. With one key-contact per region (Directors) and a dynamic executive, it is now possible to bring together dart players at the competitive level as well as the recreational level.

The QDA helps with the organization of dart leagues by supplying the necessary material, and assisting the regions in preparing  tournaments.  Many regional, provincial and international competitions are happening all year long, challenging dart players who want to compete in singles, doubles, mixed triples or teams of four.

Our youths team obtained their first provincial Junior Championship in 1985.

The Outaouais region has been very successful in the past and has been represented by men and woman at the Provincial and National levels.  Outaouais has also had the honour of having some of our own go to England.
